The Collection of Teachings of Tilopa TILO7 - The Accomplishment of the Self-Blessing Sequence 1-4-5b The Accomplishment of the Self-Blessing Sequence In Sanskrit: Sva Adhisthana Krama In Tibetan: Self-Blessing Sequence 1-4-6a Homage to glorious Vajrasattva! By showing the distinction of the part of self-blessing, the emanation is the lord of illusion. In the glorious Vajra Playful Woman, whatever taste is especially enjoyed. The Vajra nectar, the glorious one, by whomever it is praised, that too is the nature of illusion. How can one say other than this, who can conquer the Bhagavan? I prostrate to him! Who is the single beautiful form of the victorious one of manifest joy? Who never awakens from sleep in the hearts of the wise? Whose arising, at the time of equality, causes the senses and their objects to subside? I prostrate to him! Who has the playfulness, the glorious, the nature of bliss, holding the vajra symbol? Whose form is free from playfulness, immaculate, the nature of wisdom, going everywhere? Like a wish-fulfilling tree, manifesting similarly, cutting the net of afflictions in the three places. The glorious Vajra word symbol, the virtuous woman, I prostrate to her! Who, even by remembering the Vajra lotus limbs, Goes easily to the place of bliss, the sole bliss free from afflictions. With unwavering reverence, with the weight of the burden, I prostrate with my head to the dust of the lotus at his feet. Who, with the rays of kindness, touches me, Whose precious light surrounds and utterly destroys the assembly of darkness. With immaculate eyes, enjoying his own form, seeing far. I truly bow to the lama who illuminates everything. Who is the cause of joy on the shore of existence and peace, the common stream? The water of the wisdom sky nourishes the mind, the glorious third lama. The glorious Vajra Playful Woman, the virtuous woman, the assemblies, the nature of Prajnaparamita. Who is the only one showing the three places, the supreme sovereign, I take refuge in the supreme mind. Who places the mind in the realm of equality, like poison, Transforming samsara into essence, freely like a mantra. Who can wash away the earth, not the place of the senses' minds, the small house of the three realms, The stain? I prostrate to the supreme speech of the lama. Merely remembering, the knot of the lotus in the heart, Is joined to liberation by exhaling breath, the lama's command. Like the light of half a sun, illuminating the darkness of the three places.

【English Translation】 Destroying, ignorance and opposition, I prostrate with a tamed mind. Remembering a little of the dust of the Guru's feet, virtues are fully developed, glorious one. If the nature of discomfort can be transformed into supreme bliss, then there is nothing else to accomplish. With reverence for the dust of my Guru's feet, aging and death, sickness and suffering, The multitude of various arrow-like piercing pains does not weary me. Because I cannot divide the share of the nectar of wisdom to beings, whatever I do is to completely relieve the suffering. That which is not the realm of the mind, therefore is not the realm of any action. The order of the foundational words spoken by the Guru is long, its order contains virtues such as compassion. In the hearts of the faithful, it arises naturally, all things are one, The diverse nature is indivisible, this is separated from the union of attachment, the yoga of effort is yoga. Hair standing on end, delighted like sprouts, tears washing eyes and eyelashes. With the most steadfast burden of reverence, I bow to the wish-fulfilling precious Guru. Clearly gesturing slightly on the crown of the head, embracing the earth with great joy. With the thread of true reverence, stringing the flowers of the mind, please accept this rosary of mine. Protector, the small amount of wisdom you have granted is as free as a princess skilled in music. The pleasure of enjoying the nature of beings, experiencing it alone, that is a fortunate mind! You, moistened by the compassion of youth, have taught a path never before spoken, no goer, nothing to be gone to, no going, it is very wonderful! Merely taking a step upwards, one possesses a stream of incomparable happiness, when will one not see the slightest difference between samsara and nirvana.
