Profound samaya is the guru's samaya. Profound interdependence is the guru's supreme interdependence. The ultimate fruit is the guru's fruit. Therefore, be skilled in the guru's practice. The guru, like the nature of the earth, Is the basis for cause and non-cause. The guru, like the great fire of wisdom, Burns away the two obscurations and habitual tendencies. The guru's blessings, like the wind, Cause virtues to move everywhere. The guru's compassion, like milk-water, Nourishes all beings. The guru, with profound wisdom, Dispels the darkness of ignorance.
