ཀྱི་དབང་ལུང་ནི་རྣམ་པ་གཉིས་སྟེ(ཏེ)། སྤྲོས་བཅས་དང་སྤྲོས་པ་བསྡུས་པའི་ལུགས་སོ། །དེ་ལ་སྤྲོས་བཅས་ནི་མཁས་པ་པཎྜི་ཏའི་ལུགས་ཏེ། ཕ་རྒྱུད་མ་རྒྱུད་རྣམས་ཀྱིས་དབང་ཆུ་ལྟར་བསྐུར་བ་ཡིན་ པས་གཞུང་གཞན་དུ་ཤེས་པར་བྱའོ། །འདིར་རྣལ་འབྱོར་པ་ཀུ་སུ་ལུ་པའི་ལུགས་ཏེ་སྤྲོས་པ་བསྡུས་ཏེ་བསྟན་པ་ཟབ་མོའི་ལུག་(ལུགས་)ཡིན་ནོ། །རྣམ་པ་གཅིག་ཏུ་ན་བློ་རབ་སྔོན་སྦྱངས་ལས་འཕྲོ་ཅན་ལ་ བདག་འཇུག་རྡོ་རྗེ་འཆང་གི་ཏིང་ངེ་འཛིན་གྱི་དབང་ཟབ་མོ་འདི་ཁོ་ན་ཡིན་ཕྱིར་བཀའ་རབ་ཏུ་དམ་པར་བྱའོ། །འདི་ནི་རྡོ་རྗེ་འཆང་གིས་གསང་བའི་བདག་པོ་ལ་བསྐུར། དེས་རྣལ་འབྱོར་མ་ལ་བསྐུར། དེས་ཏི་ལོ་པ་ལ་བསྐུར། དེས་ན་རོ་པ་ལ་བསྐུར། དེས་མར་ཆུང་བདག་ལ་པུ་ལ་ཧ་རིར་བསྐུར། བུ་ཆེན་གཞན་ལ་སེམས་ཀྱིས་མ་ཁྲེལ་ནས་ཐུགས་རྒྱུད་མན་ངག་སྐོར་གྱི་ཆོས་སྒོ་དབང་ཆོག་ འདི་ཉིད་ཕྱི་མའི་དུས་སུ་སྐལ་ལྡན་བྱང་ཆུབ་སེམས་དཔའ་འཕགས་པའི་རིགས་མཆོག་བདག་རྫུས་གཅིག་དང་འཕྲད་པར་ཤོག །སྨོན་ལམ་བཏབ། དུད་སོལ་ལྷ་མོ་ལ་གཉེར་དུ་གཏད་ ནས་སྲས་མཁར་ནང་དུ་ཨ་དམ་རྒྱའོ། །གྷུ་ཧྱ༔ ཨྠིྀ།། །།

【English Translation】 Profound Empowerment Scroll Herein lies the Profound Empowerment Scroll. Homage to the Great Vajradhara! The empowerment and transmission of these heart-essence instructions are of two types: extensive and concise. The extensive method is the tradition of the learned Panditas, bestowing empowerment like a stream of water through the Father and Mother Tantras, as is known in other texts. Here, it is the tradition of the yogi Kusulupa, presenting the profound method concisely. Alternatively, for those with sharp intellect and karmic connections from prior practice, this self-entry into the profound Samadhi empowerment of Vajradhara is sufficient; therefore, it must be kept extremely secret. This was transmitted by Vajradhara to the Lord of Secrets, who transmitted it to the Yogini, who transmitted it to Tilopa, who transmitted it to Naropa, who transmitted it to me, Marpa, at Pulahari. Do not withhold this from other great disciples out of stinginess. May this Dharma gate of heart-essence instructions and empowerment rituals meet with fortunate Bodhisattvas and noble beings in the future.
