【English Translation】 To the Sangha, I have not shown due respect; to the Dharma, I have not been respectful either. All these, I confess. I have always, due to ignorance, abandoned the sacred Dharma; to my parents, I have not been filial. All these, I confess. Due to foolishness and childishness, and due to greed, hatred, delusion, as well as pride and arrogance, the sins I have committed, all these, I confess. With your profound wisdom, Buddhas, please look upon me! With your compassionate hearts, please forgive my faults! The sins I have committed in hundreds of thousands of kalpas, for this I feel sorrow. Suffering, worry, and fear torment me, I fear sinful actions, and my heart is always humble. Wherever I go, I have no joy. All Buddhas are full of compassion, able to dispel the fears of all beings, please forgive my faults! Deliver me from fears! May the Tathagatas cleanse the defilements of my afflictions and karmas! Please, Buddhas, wash me with the water of compassion! I confess all sins, whatever I have done in the past, and whatever sins I commit now, all these, I confess. All the wrong actions I have committed, I vow never to commit again. Whatever faults I have committed, I will not conceal them. The three actions of the body, the four actions of speech, and the three actions of the mind, all these, I confess. What the body has done, what the speech has said, and what the mind has thought, these ten actions, all these, I confess. The sinful actions I have committed, which bring about unpleasant results. In the presence of the Buddhas, I confess all these sins. This is an excerpt from the Golden Light Sutra, urged by King Dondrup Dorje. The benefit of this sutra is that it can quickly and thoroughly eliminate all karmic obscurations by reciting these confessions from the Golden Light Sutra. Therefore, I abandon sinful actions and practice the source of goodness—virtuous deeds. Whatever I wish for in this life, may it be fulfilled quickly and as desired. 【English Translation】 May the king, adorned with all virtues, whose adversaries are not even named, with a mighty army and retinue, attain the state of a Chakravartin (轉輪王, zhuan lun wang, Wheel-Turning King), and as the supreme field of merit, may he please all with the Dharma. From this moment on, relying solely on higher realms, may he become a great ruler in Samsara (輪迴, lun hui, cyclic existence), for the benefit and happiness of all sentient beings, may he cultivate the practice of supreme Bodhi (菩提, pu ti, enlightenment), and swiftly perfect the ocean of qualities such as the ten powers, becoming a fully enlightened Buddha. This is also the aspiration prayer of Miwang Dondrup Dorje (米旺·頓珠多吉) composed at the summit of Lhunpo (倫波山頂). Mangalam (吉祥!)
