【English Translation】 Collected Teachings of the Omniscient Pema Karpo PK60: Praise to the Bhagavan Compassionate Mother Praise to the Bhagavan Compassionate Mother Praise to the Bhagavan Compassionate Mother Herein lies the collection of praises by the Omniscient Pema Karpo. In this Kailash, unmatched in upholding the accomplished tenets. The wise and accomplished rest their lotus feet upon the jewel at its crown, finding solace. I prostrate with devotion to the immaculate lotus feet of the peerless glorious Drukpa father and son. Bhagavan, the great treasure of compassion, Avalokiteśvara (Sanskrit: Avalokiteśvara, meaning: the one who looks down with compassion). In the sacred land of India, he is the glorious Naropa (Sanskrit: Nāropā, a famous Indian Buddhist scholar). In this snowy land, he is the protector of beings, Drukpa (a lineage of the Kagyu school of Tibetan Buddhism). I prostrate to the one who upholds the teachings through emanations. 1. With faith and compassion, and a determined renunciation. He perfectly practices the precepts that please the noble ones. He has distanced his mind from craving desires. I prostrate to the ascetic who is unmatched. 2. He has comprehended all the scriptural systems. Through diligent study, he is skilled in what to adopt and abandon. He directly perceives with a pristine, equanimous mind. I prostrate to the one who has perfected listening, contemplation, and meditation. 3. With the nectar of the immaculate Buddha's teachings. He washes away all the ignorance of beings. He bestows the adornment of precious jewels of wisdom. I prostrate to the fearless White Lotus. 4. You have the power to know samsara and nirvana equally. If one relies on you with faith, supreme accomplishments will arise. Even if harmed, it turns into a cause for benefit and happiness. I prostrate to the one who is meaningful to all connected beings. 5. When teaching, he opens the doors to a billion excellent explanations. When debating, he destroys all the opposing arguments of others. When writing, he unrestrictedly records the Buddha's intentions. I prostrate to the one who is victorious in all directions. 6. The wish-fulfilling tree that fulfills the hopes of beings. The great drum that constantly proclaims the sound of Dharma. The precious treasure of countless virtues. I prostrate to the glorious Ngawang Norbu. 7. Through the immeasurable merit of such praise. May I, in all lifetimes, be cared by the glorious Drukpa. May I perfectly traverse all paths to liberation from the teachings. May I become the guide who liberates all sentient beings. 8. The lord of all knowledge and compassion, Avalokiteśvara appearing as a bhikṣu, The emanation of fearless fame, the lord of speech, I prostrate at the feet of Kunga Namgyal Nobu. This was composed by the venerable one himself.
The crown jewel of all wise and accomplished beings in Jambudvipa (the world), Skilled in establishing the two feet marked with the wheel, The paṇḍita (scholar) who completely triumphs over all directions, May the lotus feet of Ngawang Norbu be firm!
By the power of the Three Jewels (Buddha, Dharma, Sangha) and the supreme deity, And the truth of the ṛṣi (sage) who uphold the oath, You are the protector of the teachings of all the Buddhas, May your lotus feet be firm until the end of the kalpa! Mangalam (Auspiciousness)!
