【English Translation】 Collected Teachings of Omniscient Pema Karpo PK89 The Ritual of Vajra Vidarana Ablution The Ritual of Vajra Vidarana Ablution Now, I will explain the method of accomplishing activities through the ablution of Vajra Vidarana. First, regarding the vase: for pacifying, use silver; for increasing, use gold; for magnetizing, use copper; and for subjugating, use iron. Alternatively, mulberry or wood is also acceptable. Choose a color that corresponds to the activity. Wrap the neck of the vase with a cloth that corresponds to the activity. Decorate the mouth of the vase with auspicious trees or poisonous substances, according to the activity. Fill the vase with Suru, Bati, white sandalwood, red sandalwood, five grains, medicinal herbs, five precious substances, and continuously flowing water for pacifying, increasing, and magnetizing activities. For subjugation, fill the vase with Agarwood, black Gugul incense, and uninterrupted water. With a state of meditation possessing the deity, generate the deity corresponding to the activity in the vase, and dissolve the non-dual wisdom offering. Again, make offerings and praises to please it. Recite the mantra, and for pacifying, visualize cool rays of white light emanating; for increasing, visualize rays of pure gold light emanating; for magnetizing, visualize rays of light the color of Padma Raga; for subjugating, visualize rays of black light emanating, generating repulsive and painful sensations. Whatever touches this light, diseases, evil spirits, and sins will be pacified, life and strength will increase, wealth will increase, and one will be able to magnetize and subjugate. 【English Translation】 Then, invite lightning, make offerings and sacrifices, and recite the Vajra mantra: 'Om Astana Ghra Ghra Ha He Nam Na Ghra Astana Dha Dha Ra Jnya Paya Ti Svaha.' By reciting this mantra, visualize that all powers are possessed, proclaim the truth of the Buddha, and after offering, they ascend into the sky. Bathing with the vase as before will liberate you from it. If others cut off my mantra with mantras, causing failure to achieve, then the ritual to undo this state is: write your own mantra on birch bark, bark, or cloth, using saffron, musk, and cinnabar. First complete the practice of this mantra, then create the mandala of this mantra, make a statue of Vajrapani, and place it in front of the mandala. Place a vase filled with ghee or milk according to the ritual, and bathe three times a day for seven days, morning, noon, and evening, to be liberated from the cutting off of mantras and other such actions. If after doing this, you still cannot achieve, it is because your own deity has been attacked by a stake. If after doing this, you still cannot achieve, it is because your own speech has been bound. The method to undo this state is: first perform the practice of this mantra and the creation of the mandala, and in front of the statue of Vajrapani, bathe yourself to be liberated from the binding of speech and other such states. If others interfere by cutting off mantras, etc., by practicing the above methods, you will achieve. If there are illnesses and many obstacles, or if you are possessed by ghosts or evil spirits, or if you are harmed by the demons mentioned in 'Supreme Wisdom,' or to avert curses, etc., the bathing ritual should be explained in detail: recite the long mantra 'Nectar Swirl' and the mantras of the deities, drive away with mustard seeds, and delineate the boundary.
