May I be born in the pure land of Sukhavati. Where you are, there are only gods and humans, different only in name. Seven thousand seven hundred goddesses play with you, possessing immeasurable celestial beds of jewels. May I be born in the pure land of Sukhavati. Your garden has forests of jewels, rivers of fragrant water, emanated birds, and is filled with flowers and mountains of jewels. May I be born in the pure land of Sukhavati. 【English Translation】 Flowers rain down, a seven-tiered parasol stands tall, four fingers wide when pressed, rising upwards when lifted, may I be born in the Pure Land of Sukhāvatī (極樂凈土). Your Pure Land, with lush trees, flowing streams, and melodious music, delights the mind. Preaching the pleasing sound of Dharma, emitting fragrant incense, possessing splendid garments, with all needs arising as desired, may I be born in the Pure Land of Sukhāvatī (極樂凈土). You are intoxicated by vows, gathering perfect merits, in this ocean-like vast Pure Land, all rare things are available. Adorned with endless splendor, leaving people unable to take their eyes away, marveling at the sight, may I be born in the Pure Land of Sukhāvatī (極樂凈土). Your retinue, five hundred in number, all born from lotuses, sitting in the vajra posture, all are twice-born beings. Adorned with golden light, possessing excellent marks and characteristics, may I be born in the Pure Land of Sukhāvatī (極樂凈土). Your teachings have immeasurable Śrāvaka Sanghas, immeasurable Bodhisattvas, immeasurable vows. All beings have immeasurable lifespans, may I be born in the Pure Land of Sukhāvatī (極樂凈土). You diligently make offerings, in every instant, traveling through hundreds of thousands of Buddha lands, listening to the Dharma. All beings attain supernatural powers, displaying great strength, may I be born in the Pure Land of Sukhāvatī (極樂凈土). Like Lokeśvararāja (世間自在王) and Mahāsthāmaprāpta (大勢至) and other sons of the Buddha, like the Tathāgata Amitābha (無量光) himself. In benefiting beings and bestowing happiness, their power is unmatched, may I be born in the Pure Land of Sukhāvatī (極樂凈土). The number of Dharma teachings you expound in every instant cannot be counted by anyone. There is always a gathering of monks who listen, uphold, and have great wisdom, may I be born in the Pure Land of Sukhāvatī (極樂凈土). Through your power, in every instant, hundreds of thousands of koṭi (俱胝) gates of samādhi (三摩地) are accomplished. Thus, in immeasurable kalpas, it is a place for meditation, may I be born in the Pure Land of Sukhāvatī (極樂凈土). Your blessings prevent all states of decline, constantly increasing, unparalleled. All who desire merit, may they be like me, may I be born in the Pure Land of Sukhāvatī (極樂凈土). The aspiration prayer of Sukhāvatī (極樂凈土), extracted from the glorious vision of the Amitābha (無量光) Buddha-field, which is a collection of jewels, was written by Padma dkar po (白蓮花) at Rong ljon nang (榮地榮炯囊) Monastery.
