Here, I will briefly mention some of the procedures that belong to the great dedication and are immediately needed. First, the Guru Lineage or Daily Dedication: May all the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas abiding in the ten directions consider me. May all the accumulations of merit, like the basis of merit, and all the virtues accumulated in the past and present, and will be done in the future, increase from above to above without being suppressed by others, until unsurpassed enlightenment, and become vast and extensive, pervading the realm of space. Thus, by the power of virtue and goodness, may all the activities of the precious Buddha's teachings, such as this venerable Guru, the embodiment of all the victorious ones, be equal to immeasurable life, and may the great activities of body, speech, and mind pervade all the realms of the world. For the sake of upholding, maintaining, and spreading the precious teachings, may we be completely victorious over all opposing forces. For the sake of all sentient beings, may we, who practice like Brahma, be diligent in upholding all the sacred Dharma and in the supreme practice of unsurpassed enlightenment, and may we attain the great state of perfect Buddhahood in this very life. May the Guru's health be good, and may he be the sole medicine for the suffering of beings. May this merit allow him to see all. Offering Dedication Offering Dedication: Please consider. May all the accumulations of merit from our practice and the three times, transformed into the great cloud of Samantabhadra's offerings, be offered to the glorious and holy Guru, the great master of all lineages. By the power of this offering, may he be exceedingly pleased, and may the ocean of Buddhas manifest various wonders before each of us sentient beings, constantly holding us and never separating from us. May we never be separated from hearing the sixty melodious sounds of speech, which turn all the wheels of Dharma, possessing the nature of depth and vastness. Recite the biography of the glorious Lama, etc. Dedication for the Intermediate Spiritual Friend: Please attend to the mind-stream of the one called 'This Prayer'. By the great power of the virtue accomplished in this way, may this great spiritual friend always be reborn, and through hearing, thinking, and meditating, may he reach the ultimate, becoming like a second Buddha. May all obstacles to his Bodhicitta and his conduct be completely pacified. May all the accumulations of causes for rising from ground to ground be naturally obtained, reaching perfection without effort or fatigue. May he quickly attain unsurpassed Bodhi and accomplish the infinite benefit of all sentient beings. May all these disciples, by holding him as a spiritual friend, always engage only in the holy Dharma. Recite 'The mind of enlightenment is a precious jewel,' etc. Dedication for the Deceased: Dedication for the Deceased: Make supplication to the deceased. Having entered the Dharma, until the practice of the holy Dharma is perfected, may all unfavorable conditions that are contrary to the Dharma be pacified. May he quickly attain the state of omniscience, adorned with all qualities. May you always be delighted in virtue, thereby entering the sacred Dharma, and through practice, attain the state of a fully enlightened Buddha! May the world experience good harvests and timely rains, and may all the glory of auspiciousness and well-being arise! In particular, may the malicious thoughts and actions of those in this place where we dwell be pacified, may benefit be accomplished, and may all places of perfect abundance arise! Recite 'Who gives alms, to whom does one give?' etc. At the urging of the Sangha, Pema Karpo (པདྨ་དཀར་པོ།，White Lotus) compiled it into an easily recited form.
